the shopping scenario in Mulund. Currently Mulund is home to the biggest and the most luxurious shopping malls in the nation.
These malls make a distinct statement not only with respect to luxury, space, style but also economy and variety. Apart from

Nirmal Lifestyles:

It’s a huge complex home to numerous malls developed by the Nirmal Group. Prominent names like Shoppers Stop, Fabindia have huge shopping areas here. If you are a fast food buff then don’t worry there’s
a three storeyed Mcdonalds here, also a small Pizza Hut. If you are a hardcore foodie then there’s the very
popular Sachin’s restaurant at your service. Not to mention but there’s
also a Baskin Robbins outlet here. There is a very huge Mega market called Shoprite. At the entrance is a huge dome shaped structure in which a “space
travel” theme is created. There are the likes of Neil Armstrong and the International Space Station hanging underneath
it. It also has a dummy space shuttle! It sells every thing from a pin to plane(not the real one of course!). It resembles
the Carrefour(The French chain of “sell all” malls spread across the globe).There are also budget stores like "9 to 9 Dollar
Shop" and the "Dollar Shop"
Nirmal Lifestyles is partly still under construction but the ambience is excellent especially at the night when lights
of different shades come on. A multiplex theatre complex is also in the pipeline. This place is a “must visit”
for every visitor to Mulund.
R-Mall

This is the first mall of its kind in India developed by the Runwal Group.It
is home to all the big brands of the country. Some of them include Westside, Lifestyles
etc. Also there is the super economy store called the Big Bazaar selling everything
from food items to electronic goods at a very affordable price.
There is the R-Adlabs Multiplex movie theatre on the level four of the R-Mall. It has four screens all showing the
latest movies. There is also a huge Pizza Hut outlet.
There are various other places like M.G road, Mulund station area where there are individual shops selling various
goods. There is a big car showroom called Krishna Motors on the link road.
